Ann Romney will introduce her husband, Mitt, to a crowd of conservatives at the CPAC conference today — with a shoutout to new American Conservative Union chairman Al Cardenas, who backed Romney for president in 2008.

“David Keene has been a special friend to us all these years,” she said in prepared remarks of Cardenas’s predecessor. “As we say thank you to him, we look forward to the many good things we can expect from Castro’s nemesis and our friend, Al Cardenas.”
